Outbound for Mac

Outbound refund policy

Outbound gives a full refund on Personal and Family licences within 14 days of purchase: email support@outboundfirewall.com with your order number, and you don’t need to give a reason.

Updated

How to ask for a refund

  1. Email support@outboundfirewall.com within 14 days of your purchase.
  2. Include the order number from your purchase email.

That’s all. Outbound has no trial, so the 14 days are there for trying it on your own Mac.

What happens next

Dodo Payments, the merchant of record for every purchase, returns the money to the payment method you used, in the currency you paid. Dodo Payments says a refund can take 5 to 10 business days to reach your account, depending on your bank. Your licence key then stops working, and at its next licence check Outbound returns to the licence screen with “Your licence is no longer active”. Outbound never cuts your network because of a licence problem. To remove the app as well, follow the uninstall steps.

Personal and family licences

Both are one-time purchases, and both get the same 14-day full refund.

After 14 days

After 14 days a purchase is final and can’t be refunded, except where your local consumer law gives you more.

Switching from Personal to Family

There’s no upgrade price. To move from Personal to Family, buy a Family licence, then choose Settings › License › Use a Different Key… and enter the new key; Outbound activates the new key before it releases the old one. Within 14 days of buying the Personal licence, email support for a refund of it.

Moving to a new Mac instead

You don’t need a refund to move Outbound to a new Mac. On the old Mac, open Settings › License and click Deactivate on This Mac, then activate the same key on the new one. A Personal licence is active on 2 Macs at a time and a Family licence on 5.

Can’t find your purchase email?

Outbound’s Settings › License has a Find My License Key link that opens an email to support with the subject filled in.

Teams

Teams prices and terms are set by quote, so this page doesn’t cover Teams refunds. Email support@outboundfirewall.com about a Teams refund.
