Getting help with the app
If your Mac has lost its connection, turn off the Outbound filter first: System Settings › Network › Filters (or VPN & Filters), select Outbound and turn it off. Then write in with:
- your macOS version and build, and whether the Mac has Apple silicon or Intel;
- your Outbound version;
- the app affected and what you expected to happen;
- whether a VPN, iCloud Private Relay or another network filter is installed.
The output of outboundctl status and systemextensionsctl list helps too, once you’ve removed private identifiers. You don’t need to send your full audit history. You can also send a report from the app with Help › Report a Problem…, and see exactly what’s in it before it goes. The support page has the details.
